METHOD
To make the fries, slice the potato into chips, keeping skin on
Rinse with water to get rid of some starch and pat dry
Season the chips with salt and pepper, coat in a little oil and the Cajun seasoning
Place the chips in the air fryer at 180°C for 25 minutes
Form the balls into two equal 10cm patties – using a burger press makes this really easy
Dry fry the burgers in a pan, flipping once nicely browned on one side
Once fully cooked, turn off the heat and put the cheese slices on top of the patties
Assemble the burger with the two patties, lettuce, tomato and sauces, as well as any other burger toppings you like
Wrap the burger in tin foil and place in the oven at about 180°C for a few minutes to fully melt the cheese
Serve with the fries and enjoy!
