All recipesFake-Away ClubHot shot pizza pasta25 min 4 portionsSave recipeJoin to planI cooked thisPrint cardIngredientsCooking for41/2 red pepper, sliced1/2 green pepper, sliced300g pasta1 red onion, sliced1/2 pack pepperoni1 tsp garlic purée1/2 red chilli, sliced (optional)500g passata1/2 tsp chilli flakes1 tsp oregano1 tsp basil80g mozzarellaMethod1Fry the peppers and onion in a pan with some spray oil2Meanwhile boil your pasta according to packet instructions, and save some of the pasta water when you drain3Once the veg is beginning to soften, add in some pepperoni and cook that until it releases some of its oils4Add in the garlic and chilli (if using) and then add in the passata and mix5Season with the chilli flakes, oregano, basil and salt and pepper to taste – adjust the seasoning as needed6Cook the sauce down for 5 minutes or so, then add in the pasta, some of the pasta water, and half of the mozzarella7Mix everything together, then spread out in one layer in the pan (or in an oven proof dish if your pan can’t go in the oven)8Sprinkle over the remaining mozzarella, then add some of your favourite leftover pizza toppings (I did pepperoni, onion and pepper)9Bake in the oven for 5–10 minutes at 180°C – until the cheese is melted and golden on top10Serve immediately#Under 30 minsComments Sign in to leave a comment.Be the first to leave a note.
