All recipesFake-Away ClubCrispy Chilli Beef Fried Rice30 min 4 portionsSave recipeJoin to planI cooked thisPrint cardIngredientsCooking for4340g beef medallion steaks1 medium egg2 heaped tbsp cornflourOil spray1/2 red pepper, sliced1/2 green pepper, sliced3 spring onions, sliced (greens saved for topping)1 tsp garlic purée250g dry long grain rice500ml beef stock3 tbsp soy sauce2 tbsp ketchup3 dessertspoons honey2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce1 tbsp rice wine vinegar1 red chilli, sliced1 tbsp sesame seedsMethod1Slice the steaks into thin strips.2Crack the egg into a bowl and whisk.3Dip the steak strips in the egg, then coat fully in cornflour.4Spray well with oil and air fry at 200°C until crispy (shake halfway).5Spray a large pan with oil.6Add the garlic, sliced peppers and most of the spring onions.7Fry for a minute until softened.8Add the dry rice straight into the pan and stir through the veg.9Pour in 500ml beef stock.10Stir once, then put the lid on.11Let it cook on medium heat until the rice is fluffy and the liquid has gone12In a separate small pan, add the soy sauce, ketchup, honey, sweet chilli sauce & rice wine vinegar13Heat until bubbling and thickened.14Spoon the crispy beef over the cooked rice.15Pour the bubbling sticky sauce all over the top.16Scatter the spring onion greens, sliced red chilli and sesame seeds.17Serve straight from the pan.#Beef#Under 30 minsComments Sign in to leave a comment.Be the first to leave a note.
