Spicy bacon penne

Method

   Chop up the bacon and fry in the olive oil over a medium heat

   Once cooked, add the onion garlic and chilli

3. 3

   Once the onions are soft, add the mushrooms

   Add the herbs, stir, then add the passata

5. 5

   Season with plenty of black pepper then add the balsamic vinegar and a splash of water

   Cover with foil and simmer for 30 minutes until thick

7. 7

   Cook pasta to al dente, drain, then add to the sauce

   Stir well, serve with a sprinkling of parmesan
