All recipesComfort ClubSlow Cooker Lasagne Macaroni4 hrs 6 portionsSave recipeJoin to planI cooked thisPrint cardYearly members: printable PDFIngredientsCooking for61 medium onion500g tomato passata500g lean beef mince400g dried lasagne sheets187ml red wine2 tbsp tomato puréeCheddar cheese sauce, prepared (from 40g mix)60g mozzarella1 beef stock pot1 tsp white sugar1 tsp garlic purée1 medium carrot1 red pepper2 sticks celery1 tbsp balsamic vinegarMethod1Brown the mince in a little spray oil (my slow cooker sautéed too)2Once brown, add into the slow cooker and add the onions, carrots, peppers and celery on top3Add the oregano, basil, chilli flakes, a pinch of salt and pepper, sugar, garlic purée, tomato purée, red wine, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and the tomato purée and add that too), stockpot and balsamic vinegar and give it a really good stir4Heat on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours; Mix the contents of the cheese sauce packet with the milk then add half to the mixture.
