Keep a couple of tbsp buttermilk back for later2Put the chicken in the fridge covered with clingfilm for as long as possible – overnight is best, 2 hours is great, and 30 minutes will do if you’re in a rush3When almost ready to bread the chicken, make the dry mix – mix the flour, cornflour and all of the spices together, then drizzle in the buttermilk you saved earlier and mix that in to create lumps in the flour for that authentic KFC style coating4Dip the chicken pieces into the dry mix and set aside5Spray the airfryer with oil, then place the chicken pieces in, making sure there is space between them and none are on top of each other6Spray the chicken with lots of oil to make sure it’s coated7Cook at 180 for 12 minutes – after about 8 minutes, check the chicken; if you see any dry bits, just spray again with oil#ChickenComments Sign in to leave a comment.Be the first to leave a note.
