All recipesDate Night ClubCrispy chilli chicken noodles30 min 2 portionsSave recipeJoin to planI cooked thisPrint cardIngredientsCooking for21 chicken breast, sliced150g ready cooked noodles1/2 red pepper, sliced2 spring onions, sliced1/2 green chilli, sliced1 tsp garlic puree1 tsp garlic powderPinch chilli flakes30g plain flour1 whisked egg1 tbsp sunflower oil1 tbsp dark soy sauce1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce1 tbsp tomato puree75ml waterMethod1Put the flour into a bowl and mix in 1 tsp garlic powder with a pinch of salt and cracked black pepper2Dip the chicken slices into the whisked egg then into the flour mixture to coat, then set aside3Heat the oil in a frying pan on a medium/high heat and shallow fry the chicken for a few minutes each side, until crispy and cooked through, once cooked, take out and set aside4In a new pan, fry the pepper, green chilli, ginger, a pinch of salt and spring onion with the garlic puree in a little spray oil or if light5Once softened, add the soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, tomato puree and water6Now add the noodles (if you are using ready cooked noodles like I am, then just add them into the sauce) and mix well, if using dried noodles which are pre cooked so they just need adding into the hot pan, then soak up some sauce, then they'll easily break up7Add the chicken and give everything a good mix to warm it all through8Serve with some slices of spring onions to garnish on top#Chicken#Under 30 minsComments Sign in to leave a comment.Be the first to leave a note.
