Beef stroganoff

Method

   Start by slicing up the fillet steaks into strips, season with salt & pepper and brown in a frying or griddle pan for a couple of minutes on each side, once cooked to your liking (I like medium/rare so just a quick sear) remove from the pan and set aside

   In another pan, gently fry the onions and mushrooms for a few minutes in Frylight, add a tsp of lazy garlic and fry together, add a splash of water to help the veg cook

   Pour in the beef stock & plenty of cracked black pepper, let it simmer for a couple of minutes

   Now add the mustard (half a tsp) and two tbsp of creme fraiche

   Stir together to thicken up for a couple of minutes, add a tip of paprika

   Now add the steak back to the pan and heat it all together for a minute or two

   Serve between two bowls with boiled rice or tagliatelle and a sprinkle of fresh parsley - delicious!
