All recipesDate Night ClubBalsamic steak flatbread20 min 2 portionsSave recipeJoin to planI cooked thisPrint cardIngredientsCooking for21 red onion3 tbsp balsamic vinegar2 tsp white sugar40g mature cheddar1 handful spinach2 flatbreads1 tsp garlic purée2 beef fillet steaksMethod1Marinate your fillet steaks in balsamic, garlic purée, salt and pepper.2Fry in a hot pan to your liking (rare, medium, well done timings will depend on how you like this cooked).3Once cooked remove from pan and leave to rest for 5 mins.4Add your sliced onion into the same pan with the left over balsamic and add an extra tbsp of balsamic and a tsp of sugar.5Stir and let caramelise.6Slice up your steak and add back to the pan.7Add the grated cheese and place lid on to let the cheese melt.8Serve on a toasted flatbread and add some spinach.9Can also serve with a little garlic mayo.#Beef#Under 30 minsComments Sign in to leave a comment.Be the first to leave a note.
