Air fryer cheese stuffed burger

Method

   Form the mince into 8 equal balls and flatten them into thin circle shapes with your hands (they’ll shrink in the air fryer!).

   Season with salt and pepper, then place a cheese slice on 4 of the patties. Top each one with a plain patty and press around the edges to seal.

   Pop the burgers into the air fryer, spray with a little oil and cook at 200°C for 5 minutes.

   Flip them over, add a slice of bacon on top of each one, and cook for another 5 minutes at 200°C.

   Add the remaining cheese slices on top and pop the brioche buns in the air fryer too, just for a couple of minutes to toast.

   To assemble, spread your sauce on the top and bottom buns, then add the cheesy patties, bacon and a gherkin.

   Slice in half to reveal that melty cheese middle… and enjoy!
