Crispy Nando's Chicken Burgers

Method

   First, coat the sweet potato fries with some spray oil, 1/2 tsp of the smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp of the garlic and a pinch of salt and pepper and cook in the air fryer on 200°C for 20 minutes, turning occasionally (try leave them with room so they can crisp up)

   Next, crush the cornflakes with your hands to break them up into smaller pieces

   Put the flour and cornflakes in separate bowls and season both with salt and pepper and the remaining smoked paprika and garlic granules

   Coat the chicken pieces in the flour and set aside

   Spread 2 tbsp of the mayonnaise over the chicken ensuring they are all covered

   Dip the chicken into the cornflakes until evenly coated

   Transfer the chicken into the air fryer, spray with spray oil and cook on 180°C for 20 minutes, turning over halfway. Add the cheese slices onto the burgers and add the sweet potato fries back in to warm back up for a further couple of minutes

   Meanwhile, mix 4 tbsp of the mayonnaise with the Nando’s sauce

   Slice and toast brioche buns, then spread half of the sauce over the bottom half

    Add the lettuce, burgers, the rest of the sauce and the top brioche bun and enjoy!
