Christmas crack sprouts

Method

   Cut the end off the sprouts and slice in half, peel any excess

   Fry the bacon in a little spray oil until golden and crispy, then set aside on a paper towel

   Add the sprouts to the pan with the bacon fat and gently cook until brown all over

   Add the garlic purée

   Chop up the bacon and add to the pan once the sprouts are golden

6. 6

   Season with salt and pepper

   Add the cream and milk, simmer for a couple of minutes

8. 8

   Turn off the heat and transfer everything to an ovenproof dish

9. 9

   Top with the grated cheese and bake at 190°C until golden and bubbling

10. 10

    Serve alongside your Christmas dinner!
